Responsibilities and Duties:

Candidate must have 3+ years of prior experience developing commercial applications using J2EE in multi-tiered Software as Service Model, with utilization of web related technologies, such as Struts, Spring, JSP, JDBC, Web Services, XML, SOAP, HTML, CSS, Java Script, etc. Knowledge of SQL is required. BS degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred. On-hands experience with Postgres, Ajax, Jasper, and MAX OSX are a plus.

Candidate must have strong understanding of object-oriented programming in an enterprise environment and demonstrate ability utilizing object-oriented techniques to produce correct, extendable, reusable and efficient solutions. Maintain high degree of comfort working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

Effective communication and leadership skills, fundamental server-side Java skills, and the aptitude to learn new things are the most important criteria.

Experience building Internet applications in the one or more of the following applications is required: search, content-match, or online advertising space.
